For content duplication services or manufacturers of usb flash drives (usb sticks) or mobile devices such as navigation devices (PND), smartphones, mobile phones (also known as a cellular phone, cell phone and hand phone), tablet PC's, media player, embedded systems, µcontroller, mobile data storage devices etc., that means wherever you want to copy data contents via USB 2.0, test or program mobile devices with internal flash memory via USB 2.0 and both in series, the IQ CopyStation USB is the ideal copying, testing and programming solution.

Use the IQ CopyStations in stand-alone mode for simple copy jobs (write, verify or write & verify). For more complex copy jobs you can control up to 32 IQ CopyStations from a single host PC with IQ PowerSoftware.
With both operation modes you are able to copy media content rapidly onto 20 (21) flash media slots respectively USB 2.0 compatible devices. By using an adapter the IQ CopyStation USB also works with other types of media with different interfaces such as SATA drives, CFast cards (Compact flash cards with SATA interface) etc.

Next to the "Parallel Copy" mode, the "Copying on Insertion™" mode is available for both operation modes and minimizes the required action for operators. By "Copying on Insertion™" the altec IQ CopyStations automatically start the designated copy process when empty flash media respectively the USB 2.0 device is connected or rather inserted into copy slot. Thereby times for loading and running the machine are minimized, more time for copy processes. Hardly able to copy flash media with more efficiency.

By connecting the altec IQ CopyStations in host operating mode to PC via USB 2.0 the full capability of these highly efficient devices is disclosed. The smart and easy to learn software concept of IQ PowerSoftware with numerous options already allows a multitude of optional copy modes to reduce production costs by saving time for copy processes.
In addition and optionally IQ PowerSoftware provides external data migration to enable serialization of flash media respectively mobile USB 2.0 devices, programming firmware and/or perform tests. Within the workflow individual coding and copy protection mechanism can be implemented.

Within the USB-e.MMC set-up instructions the IQ CopyStation USB transmits commands to configure used e.MMC components. The installation of hidden data partitions, multiple LUN's, different sized MLC and SLC areas etc. is easy integrated into the workflow – "flashing" the (flash-) controller firmware via USB 2.0 is also possible. Afterwards the IQ CopyStation USB automatically copies the individual data content onto the mobile USB 2.0 device  and if necessary final test cycles to perform without subsequent action by user.
